Where did the law go...Its been said by lady rose that the law is like a prostitute every man can come and have his turn, In resent times how ever it is self evidence that the people that uphold the laws are the ones who break them, pursuant to site as case report,The resent Nigerian case of the court of Appeal boss Justice salami who was removed illegally, and after much deliberation the matter was swept under the carpet, "Good radians..." The Law also should have been seen as the last hope of the common man, also in resent time specifically since the advent of the Labor government in 1997 at the Uk, Many constitutional Changes have taken place, but in all these not as mush has addressed the issue which was discussed in the case of Pickin V British Railway board.ER(1974)(Supremacy of parliament) Now this article is not to Lambaste the supremacy of parliament but to ask the rhetoric "Were is the right of the Man " as enshrined in the Magna carter. Where is the right of man as stated in united Nations Declarations of the rights and duties of Man of 1948,and again I ask where...?
I would like to round up by saying the words of the famous writer and human right Activist from Nigeria Ken saro wiwa "YOU CAN KILL THE MESSENGER BUT YOU CAN NOT KILL THE MESSAGE" the law is made for man and not man for the law. Expressly i would ask Lawyers, judges, lords where is the Law and order you promised...Where has the Law gone to ? let it not just be in theory We want to see the LAW in reality, let it be practical.
